I'm Mark — I've been building software, launching businesses, and solving technical problems since before AI was a buzzword. Now I combine two decades of hands-on experience with genuine AI expertise to help businesses work smarter.
I was told as a teenager that AI wouldn't happen in my lifetime. Choose another path, they said. So I did — I spent 20 years in the trenches of web development, eCommerce, and digital business. I built and sold multiple online businesses, scaled a company to over £500k annual turnover with a team of 10+, and led technical projects for enterprise clients including Ford and Kärcher. I learned how to build things that work, how to ship under pressure, and how to turn technology into real business value.
Then AI happened. When GPT-4 landed in 2023, I saw the shift immediately. By 2024 I was building production RAG systems and AI assistants. Now in 2026, I deploy multi-agent systems using Claude Opus 4.6, GPT-5.2, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and open-source models like DeepSeek and Qwen. Everything I'd spent two decades learning — systems thinking, full-stack development, understanding how businesses actually operate — became the perfect foundation for AI implementation. I wasn't starting from scratch. I was adding the most powerful tool in a generation to 20 years of hard-won experience.
I went all in. I built Smart Hub — a full-scale AI-powered operations platform for a 300-person construction company. Not a demo. Not a prototype. A production system serving 300+ users daily, with AI assistants, document intelligence, automated compliance, and biometric workforce management. It delivers over £100,000 in verified annual savings. I built it end-to-end: database design, backend, frontend, AI integration, deployment, training, and support.
Now, through AI-Max Solutions, I help businesses do the same thing. I find where AI can make a genuine difference, I build it, and I make sure it actually gets used. No jargon. No overpromising. No disappearing after the pitch. Just practical AI systems that save time, cut costs, and work from day one.
